Beaches

The beautiful nature has attracted many artists, and the area has many galleries, small as well as large, where glass, ceramics, jewellery and paintings are exhibited and created. 

Esbjerg Fisheries and Maritime Museum

Take a trip to Esbjerg Fisheries and Maritime Museum, where you can see the many different fish species of the ocean or see and hear all about shipping in the Danish tidal area throughout the ages. 

Ribe Viking Centre

Whether you already know a lot or very little about Vikings, a visit to Ribe Viking Centre will give you a unique experience and new knowledge about the Viking Age.

Tipperne

At the inlet Ringkøbing Fjord - 10-15 minutes’ drive from Henne Beach – is a very unique piece of Danish nature: Tipperne – a peninsula that is famous for its varied bird life. The peninsula is used as a lay-by for thousands of wading birds, ducks and geese when they migrate from South to North – and back six months later.
