Gastronomic characteristics of Costa del Azahar
All over the Costa del Azahar the most emblematic dish is paella. It should be prepared fresh and cooked over wood. Other rice-based dishes are Arroz Abanda and Arroz Negro.
The sweet-toothed should try turrón made of nuts and honey with the drink Horchata, which is made of milk from the plant called Chufas (similar to rice) and is served ice cold.
