Zaragoza, the region's capital, located at Ebro river is one of the great monumental towns in Spain. It was founded some 2000 years ago, and, Romans, Goths and Arabians equally left their heritage. Zaragoza as well includes important buildings of Spanish baroque. Today the town is economically very active, and organizes several important international fairs.
Huesca, located at the foot of the Pyrenee mountain range was founded in the 1st century BC and offers landscapes of incredible beauty. Go visit the pleasant old town and the impressive gothic cathedral.

The Aragonese Pyrenees, are home to Spain’s oldest nature reserve – the spectacularly beautiful Ordesa National Park. The 55,000 acre reserve is awash with lush valleys, waterfalls and alpine slopes carpeted with seasonal flowers including wild violets, edelweiss and orchids. The park is perfect for gentle hiking as it is for white water rafting, challenging mountain climbing and watching animals.
