Malaga

Malaga is a province in the southern part of Andalusia best known for its popular resorts and beaches along the Costa del Sol. But Malaga, the capital of the province, has also much to offer with its charming, historical quarter, great historical monuments as the imposing Baroque Cathedral, museums such as the Picasso Museum, vibrant nightlife and city beaches offering excellent seafood restaurants.
Malaga centre is not only the perfect place to explore the many monuments, atmospheric little streets and squares with delightful café culture, but it is also a wonderful shopping centre. The main streets to head for shopping are the Alameda and the chic area Calle Marqués de Larios with its many boutiques, designer shops and classy cafes.
There are many festivals celebrated throughout the year in Malaga, such as the International Jazz Festival at the beginning of November and the Film Festival in March.
