A special attraction of Punat is the beautiful beaches which can be reached only by boat. The city Punat has 1500 permanent inhabitants and there are many restaurants, cafés, pizzerias, pastry shops, shops, a fruit and vegetables market, shops with technical goods, banks and a post office.
