Whether you are an amateur historian or whether you simply want to absorb the historic importance of the area, Karayiannis Villas are the perfect base to explore some of the most important archaeological sites in the world. The Palamidi Fortress and Ancient Tiryns are no more than 15 minutes away. Ancient Epidavros, Mycenae and Nemea are less than an hour away and along with Ancient Corinth and Assini are sites that are well worth a visit; summer or winter.
