M on the Lake is situated in the picturesque lake village of Argegno, on the sunny west side of Lake Como. This west shore has a particularly mild climate and one of the prettiest promenades of the entire lake. 

The apartment is the ground floor and basement of a three-story property, built on the mountain slope below Via Schignano, nestled up against the stone. In Argegno village the alley ways are narrow and winding. One of these, Via Garibaldi, leads from the village up to Via Schignano. 

The apartment is furnished with an Asian/Italian fusion. Furnishings are lacquered powder red, olive black and chocolate brown. Wardrobes are tapered cabinet style, and the apartment is littered with Asian fabrics and silk rugs together with unique antiques from China, Indonesia and beyond.

There is a bright kitchen-living room with access to the terrace, a master bedroom (off the kitchen) small center bedroom and 3rd bedroom with access to the village side terrace. If you want to avoid the direct sun, shutters will provide pleasant semi-shade. 

The apartment’s modular kitchen is houses a large fridge, five-ring gas hob and electric oven. Kitchen units are heavy modular beech and stainless steel with a freestanding butchers block.

There are 3 double bedrooms all with lake views. The apartment has radiators in every room for the winter guests, and ceiling fans supply a cool breeze during summer months.

Guests should feel free to relax and set the selection of outside furniture out on the terraces for delicious “al-fresco dining”.

Guests will need to park their car a little way from the apartment and walk the last few yards (approx. 200 m). The house has a simple facade - inside, roll the shutters up and it is flooded with light. You are bathed in daylight and can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake from every room.

The apartment is cool in the summer and heated by radiators in every room in the winter.
M on the Lake is an all season apartment and can be enjoyed any time of year. 

In the summer the locals and tourists lounge and swim at the many Lidos scattered around the lake. As the sun sets the Lido's come alive with gossip and the clink of Prosecco glasses.
