From the entrance hallway guests are greeted by a spacious and inviting open plan living room with a comfortable sitting area which features a flat-screen TV with DVD player and access outside through two sets of French doors onto a sunny lake view balcony with a family friendly garden. A newly fitted modern kitchen with all the desired self-catering appliances including a gas hob oven and a dishwasher are provided as well as a CD player for guest’s entertainment, whilst preparing and cooking some tasty Italian dishes!

A dining area is conveniently situated close to the kitchen, in the living area, providing a fabulous informal atmosphere ideal for holidays where a relaxed and informal way of living can be enjoyed.

Stairs lead upstairs to the first floor of the property which comprises a spacious master bedroom with double bed and enjoying balcony access. A second bedroom is ideal for children with a set of modern bunk beds, and the property ideally features a modern bathroom with power shower and a second toilet.

Due to the beautiful hillside location of the residence a car is essential for ease of movement and for maximum enjoyment during your stay on the Lake. There is a rich variety of picturesque resort towns and attractions and sport activities to explore and enjoy on the north of Lake Como, with the famous lake front town of Gravedona which is just a 9 minute’s drive away and which boasts beautiful architecture, a fascinating Spanish military history as well as its wide variety of modern day amenities and lakefront cafes and restaurants, which offer spectacular views of the lake. Each summer the town also enjoys boat races, gastronomic food festivals and firework displays.

The pretty town of Dongo with its charming tree-lined lake front of pastel-coloured townhouses and a passenger ferry service is just a 14 minutes drive away from Vercana.

Local activities along the central and north western shore include hiking, cycling, football, swimming, sailing, kite-surfing, tennis, golf and quad-biking. Skiing in the family-friendly Italian ski resort of Madesimo is just a 70 minutes drive away from Vercana and provides a fun-packed day out for beginners and experienced skiers.

It is possible to hire a wide variety of motor boats for the day in nearby Domasso, providing really the most memorable way of seeing Lake Como; from the water! On the water you can pass the beautiful resort towns and villas of Menaggio and Tremezzo and be inspired by the Griante hillside which is all on breathtaking display along the Tremezzina shore. Seeing Varenna, Bellagio and Villa Balbianello from the lake is also a magical experience and one not to be missed!
The lake road which runs along the western shore also ensures easy access to Como city and Lake Lugano and a frequent air-conditioned lake bus runs a reliable service throughout the year.
