Situated in the Lake Lugano self-catering holiday resort of Porto Letizia this splendid apartment is perfect for couples who would like to enjoy and explore the Lake District!

This type of Studio apartment can be found on the mountain side of the Villa properties and in the main Palazzo building. The exception is that the Palazzo apartments are air-conditioned and situated on the second floor which can be reached by internal staircase or conveniently by lift.

Internally, the accommodation is fully furnished to a clean modern finish with a practical kitchenette with breakfast table ideal for simple food preparation with a gas hob and microwave. The spacious open plan living area is very well lit and features a comfortable sofa with SAT TV and a private balcony, perfect for a morning coffee. The master sleeping area features a double bed and is very bright and welcoming with floor to ceiling glass balcony doors, which open out onto a second private balcony with views of the mountainside and Porto Letizia residence.

WIFI access can also be enjoyed in the apartment, by hiring the facility from the onsite computer shop.

The apartment is situated in the Palazzo building, which is the main residence of Porto Letizia and boasting close proximity to all of the holiday village’s facilities which include on-site parking. 

The on-site reception provides tourist information and there is an on-site laundry room, hair salon and computer shop for guests use. The Palazzo building also features a fabulous lake view Panama cafe and bar with a sunny lakefront terrace and a very stylish Italian restaurant ideal for lunches and romantic dinners. The holiday village enjoys splendid lakefront parkland with leafy meandering pathways ideal for walking and cycling, and leading to a children’s play area, tennis courts, mini-golf and a fabulous sandy resident beach. The complex also enjoys a lakefront outdoor swimming pool overlooking the breathtaking Lake Lugano.

The north eastern resort town of Porlezza offers a vibrant choice of cafes, gelaterias, shops and supermarkets and guests are well placed to enjoy the cosmopolitan delights of Lugano city which offer fine dining, designer shops, casinos, bars and nightclubs. The picturesque resort town of Menaggio on Lake Como is just a 20 minutes’ drive away and is an idyllic lakeside town with cafe-lined piazzas and a beautiful promenade. A car and passenger ferry service also operates from the town to Bellagio and Varenna. 

The surrounding mountainous area make it ideal for hikers and nature lovers with walking and cycle paths around the nature reserve of Lago di Piano and horse riding in the countryside. Guests who adore Agroturismos will not be disappointed; with the idyllic ranch style ‘La Barcola’ situated just 15 minutes drive away towards Menaggio in a rural unspoilt valley.

Other local activities include swimming, fishing, boat hire, golf, tennis and sailing.

Cleaning & Linen Charges

Each Porto Letizia property tariff is inclusive of gas, electricity, water & air-conditioning (specifically in the Palazzo Apt's only between July & Aug only), however tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. On arrival, please visit the Porto Letizia Reception Desk where you will be able to collect and pay for your linen & towels, which is EU15 per person, per week & a further EU12 for each week thereafter. The final compulsory cleaning costs are as follows: Studio Apt: EU60 p/wk, 1 Bed Apt: EU70 p/wk, 2 Bed Apt: EU85 p/wk & 3 Bed Apt. or Villa: EU100 p/wk. A cot can be hired for EU20 p/wk and a Dog will cost an additional EU30 p/wk.

Additional Fee (Compulsory)

There is an additional compulsory fee of €4 per adult per night & €2 per child per night when staying in Porto Letizia.
