Charming apartments in a characteristic farmhouse, restored with respect for the original structure and divided into 4 apartments, one of which is lived in by the property owners. The farmhouse dates back to 1001, when it was built as a guest house for the abbey of Isola.
Over the centuries it became a convent with hospice along the via Francigena, and recently it has been transformed by the current owner into a welcoming country house with a lovely interior courtyard.
Located at the foot of Mount Maggio, at the center of a small farm that produces grapes and olive oil, it’s in a tranquil spot among woods, vineyards and olive groves. The property enjoys a view of the surrounding countryside and offers a nice, shaded lawn with swimming pool.
A classic, beautiful row of cypress trees runs along the road to the property. The apartments are furnished simply but comprehensively, and each one offers a private, well-equipped outdoor space and satellite TV.

The evening of your arrival there will be a welcome dinner with the owners. They are kind, hospitable people who speak French, English, and Spanish and manage the farm themselves. 
Access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
