Beautiful antique Canarian country house made of stone.
It was built over 200 years and is located in "El Amparo" in Icod de los Vinos in the north-eastern part of the island, at ca.750 m heigh, surrounded by natural landscape and spruce forest.
It has a wonderful view of the coastline and the Teide.
The area is ideal for hikers and nature lovers, several hiking trails lead from the house in the mountains.
The nearest beach, the beach of San Marcos with a beautiful black volcanic sand, is only about 3 Km far from the house.
There is also a small fishing port and various tourist facilities.
The house has 2 bedrooms (one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds), bathroom with shower, living room with fireplace and a spacious fully equipped kitchen/living.
A small garden with wonderful views of the coast, with a large covered barbecue area with a big table and benches.
Behind the house there is a small orchard of which the guests can make use.
Private parking for several cars.

In Icod de los Vinos you can visit the famous “cueva del viento” (cave) one of the longest volcanic caves in the world, with more than 18 Km length. There are also more large caves which can be visited.
The “Drago milenario” the oldest dragon tree of the island, is the symbol of Icod. His age is estimated at ca. 1000 years.
Important is also the “Church of San Marcos” built in mid- 16th century in Canarian colonial style.
