Traditional Catalan country manor house dating from the 13th century set amidst 133 acres of woodland intersected by 5 km of country paths. The house is situated at the north eastern point of the St Llorenç Natural Park with great views over the park itself and Montserrat. Around the house there is 2000m2 of gardens divided into several areas. A large lawn area (800m2) around the private pool (10m x 4,5m)with sun beds and sunshades, another area with brick barbecue and a table for sitting up to 20 people and the last area with more sun beds and petanque. The house also features a covered porch with an open fireplace, ideal for enjoying summer nights. There is a second covered porch with table tennis and various patios with garden furniture. 
Pool only opened during summer, cannot be used during winter.

The house of 1100m2 has three floors and  and is perched on a hillside surrounded by patios and terraces on all sides. Worth noting is the exceptional square turret in the style of a church bell tower with eight windows and excellent views. The house features central heating, emergency lighting, telephone and internet connection. On the south side we find the arched entrance with large windows through which we arrive to a large hall and the main dining-room with fireplace, open on three sides by large archways that lead to the pool room, a sitting room with TV and HiFi, and the library. The fully equipped kitchen (with fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/ tumble dryer etc) is connected to the large breakfast room with a big round table and access to the garden. On the first floor there is a spacious living room with fireplace and grand piano. From here there is access to four double bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces). There are furthermore two double bedrooms and another with two large single beds and fireplace. There are two separate sleeping areas, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Bathroom. On the second floor there are three bedrooms more, all with en-suite bathroom and sloping ceilings, one double with walk in wardrobe, one twin and the last with a double bed and a room in the tower that can be converted in a further bedroom.

Talamanca, 2km from the house and only 50 minutes drive from Barcelona, is a small medieval town with a castle dating from the 10th century and a 12th century Romanesque church. The village is well maintained, conserving its narrow streets and stone buildings. In town you will find a restaurant and a small grocery shop. Inside the natural park the Monastery of St Llorenç is to be found, the most emblematic marks like Neolithic remains. A superb place for walking and cycling. Possibility of renting Canoes in Navarcles (7km) and horse riding in Sant Fruitós de Bages (11km).
